Ms. Gale McDonald is a Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Educator, and Certified Insulin pump and product trainer.   She has worked at ECET since 2000.  Her roles at ECET have also included Research Coordinator for clinical research trials on Diabetes medications and devices.

Gale started her nursing career in 1985 as a graduate of Roane State Community College.  She worked at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital as a staff nurse, then as a Nurse Educator, Regional Nurse Coordinator/Trainer with Health Management Resources, as well as Nurse Educator/Medical Coordinator at Health Development Services.   She then turned her career focus to Diabetes and worked at the Diabetes Center at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge prior to joining ECET.

Gale was born and raised in East Tennessee, and lives with her 2 cats.   Her hobbies include music, dancing, and crafting.
