Tyeshi Richart is a Knoxville native that has recently returned to the area after living in South Carolina for several years. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she obtained her MPH and MSN. She has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
She is a certified family nurse practitioner through the American Nursing Credentialing Center. In addition, she is a certified health education specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
Prior to moving back to Knoxville, she worked in community health centers in Greenville and Orangeburg, SC. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a home health nurse. She has a special interest in geriatrics. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
In her free time, she enjoys reading sci-fi and mystery books, shopping and entertaining family and friends. She is married and has a stepson. She joined ECET in July 2015.
