Carrie is a life-long resident of East Tennessee. Her higher education started at Hiwassee College. She transferred to East Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

After graduating from ETSU, her nursing career began at Park West Medical Center in the Critical Care Unit. Carrie worked at Park West for almost nine years before graduating from the University of Tennessee as an Advanced Practice Nurse in 2011. She is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and has been employed with Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee since March 2012.

In Carrie’s time away from work, she enjoys all East Tennessee has to offer by watching UT sports, boating on the rivers and lakes, shoe shopping.
