Ms. Hanna Henderson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
For over ten years now Hanna works in the healthcare settings, hospitals and clinics. Since earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Tusculum University, which is considered the oldest institution of a higher education in the state of Tennessee, Hanna started taking care of patients with diabetes and/or hospice patients.
Hanna knows how devastating diabetes can be since a few of her own family members live with this disease. Understanding the disease process is the key to getting diabetes under control. Therefore, Hanna uses her knowledge and experience to teach her patients how to make the best choices when it comes to diabetes medications, food choices, and improve patients’ lifestyle in general.
Hanna was born and raised in the Ukraine. However, in 2002 she made East Tennessee her home. Since then, Hanna made it her mission to become a valuable member of the local community: “Developing strong relationships and taking care of others as if they were my own family members is the foundation of everything I do.”
Outside of work, Hanna enjoys reading and traveling with her family.
