Mrs. Jennifer Skero is a board-certified Family Practitioner and certified diabetes educator. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron in 1996. She enjoyed 15 years with Endocrine Associates, Inc as a RN, CDE in Akron, Ohio before moving to Lubbock, Texas. In Lubbock Texas, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and holds a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She practiced with a Lubbock endocrinologist for 11 years.

In June 2021, she  joined the Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee team to be closer to her family in Ohio. She has a passion for health education and treatment of various endocrine diseases, metabolic disorders, thyroid conditions and diabetes.  She has been committed to delivering care in a kind, curious, and caring patient-centered environment.

She enjoys spending time with her husband who has been committed to patient care as a nurse for 25 years.  She has four children: Shelby, Benjamin, Frank and Jacob.  She loves spending time with her four-legged friends, her Golden retriever, Lady and her cat Marty.
