Dr. Meyers completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Texas.  She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the Medical University of South Carolina.  She is licensed by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
