Lori is a Texas Panhandle native although have come to love East Tennessee.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Texas A & M University in 2003. The first 10 years of my nursing career she worked at Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems in the Emergency Department. Lori is a Certified Emergency Nurse for six years and then advanced to a Certified Flight Registered Nurse. Her flight nursing career encouraged her to advance her education which led to earning my Master of Science in Nursing from West Texas A & M University in 2013. Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2014.  Lori holds a national certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioner.  She practiced in primary care for two years and then joined Amarillo Medical Specialists in 2016 and was fortunate to work in Endocrinology with Dr William Biggs. Moving from Texas to Tennessee allowed her to become a member of Endocrinology Consultants of East Tennessee team in 2024. Her extensive nursing career along with endocrinology experience has given her the foundation to treat various endocrine diseases, metabolic disorders, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and diabetes.  Lori’s passion is helping patients learn and understand their health conditions and empower them to optimize their current health status. She strives to deliver care in a patient-centered manner.

Lori’s family is her whole heart.  She has been married over 27 years to husband Mark. They have three grown children and currently three grandchildren. They have four fur babies (two cats and two dogs). Spending time with family and friends is her favorite way to spend a day.
