Ms. Nancye Schenk is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).  Nancye graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1987 with a B.S. in Nutrition Science.  She has worked in diabetes education for 25+ years.  She received her CDE certification in 1996.

Nancye works with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) as an auditor of recognized programs and has served on the ADA national education recognition committee.  She has provided numerous speaking engagements on diabetes for both the community and professional organizations.  She has been a program director of ADA recognized programs in both hospital and physician offices.  She has worked in outpatient and inpatient education, nutrition support, and was a clinical manager for an insulin pump company.

Nancye was born and raised in East Tennessee.  She currently lives in South Knoxville where she loves to kayak on the river, cook, and travel with her husband.
